We’re currently seeking 2 full time Enrolled midwife
Requirements
- Certificate in Enrolled Midwifery from a reorganized/accredited nursing and midwifery training institution and should be registered with Uganda Nurses and midwives council and licensed to practice.
Experience
- Minimum of one year working experience as midwife from a reputable health facility.

- Good working knowledge of midwifery practices

Key responsibilities
- Receive expectant mothers, register admissions and discharges in line with department guidelines.
- Provide high quality antenatal and post-natal care to maximize the women’s health during and after pregnancy in MCH.
- Plan, and review pregnant women’s care centered from initial antenatal assessment to postnatal.
- Provide information and counsel pregnant women on prenatal self-care, breastfeeding, and danger signs in pregnancy and childbirth.
- Conduct immunization and other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your supervisor
