Infrastructure
UMMB with support from Munathamat Dawa Isalmiyya completed the construction of AISHA School of health sciences in Yumbe. Four health center three (HCIIIs) completed theatres and are for upgrading to HCIVs.
Transport
The secretariat received a second vehicle as a donation from Enabel project (Belgian development agency), and this has eased monitoring and supervision of member facilities and institutions. The bureau continued to distribute, orient health workers and support staff on MoH service guidelines and HMIS tools to all facilities.
Finance
UMMB member Health facilities contributed 0.83% and donations were 25.6% of the strategic plan budget 2022/26. Only 50% of member health facilities received PHC and 25% received RBF. Determination on performance of member Health facilities’ user fees is inadequate due to lack of a centralized reporting system from HFs to Secretariat.
