The UMMB conducts regular monitoring and support supervision of member health facilities and other institutions thus contributing to MoH’s M&E key result areas as well as systems strengthening. The support supervision helps to improve staff performance and health facilities general performance on key indicators which leads to the improvement in service scope at facility levels by 87% of the network facilities providing MCHN services, 62% provide HV/AIDs services, while HCIIIs are encouraged to construct Theatres and starting providing major surgical services.
